A guildie and I were talking about this while thinking of ways to get more votes for the server. Adding boxes of enriched ori/elu to vote items of say 5 - 10 would make a lot more people vote. Some people don't know what those items do to your refine chances so I will post the differences here for armors since that'd be the biggest concern:
Regular Elu:
--------------
+1 - 4 = 100%
+5 = 60%
+6 - 7 = 40%
+8 - 9 = 20%
+10 - = 10%
---------------
Enriched Elu:
---------------
+1 - 4 = 100%
+5 = 90%
+6 - 7 = 60%
+8 - 9 = 30%
+10 = 10%

So basically it effects the rates for lower refines but +10 has no effect whether you use enriched or regular. Boxes of 5 - 10 for instance is still not a lot and would take a good while to raise a sufficient amount. Nevertheless people would do this and it would imo drastically increase server votes.
Some concerns might be over time there'd be more higher refine armors, there's already a lot imo I don't see the issue. On top of that high refines can be a double edged sword as armor def is taken into thana card calculation. Even in berserk where your def goes to 0 your armor def remains so it's more of having the option to use high refines but use at your own risk.
There's pro's and con's to every suggestion but does the good outweigh the bad? That's the thing, Reign needs something done to increase server population as stated in other suggestions/posts etc. Increasing vote rate would go a long way in helping. I'm interested in seeing what everyone thinks of this idea.

Allow me to be kind to you for a change and tell you what I know of this phenomenon.
As far as I know, the "2-5 nay sayers" have existed ever since before I even got here, and it made no sense, so I usually chalked it up to, "oh its just X guild hating Y guilds ideas." based off of some things I saw in town, and this was before KoF even got started and my highest level character was a 102 champ without any donates, still struggling in Thors. Then I saw some amazing ideas, that had no downsides for anyone in any guild and people still said no.
So to my knowledge now, its either
Guild V Guild bullshit
Forum Bots
Cthullu
Lazy Mods not wanting to work on things. (No offense meant)
Area 51 screwing with us waiting to see how long till we catch on.
Take your pick really, I stopped trying to make sense of things ages ago and said nuts to it and started trolling.

Very nice to see a suggestion that would easily increase votes get thrown aside and taken as a joke.
As for the guild V guild crap, "if" in fact that is the case, clearly those specific people aren't looking out for the best interest of the server and are being rather immature and selfish. Considering there was no reason given now 4 times I can assume that is the case and should be taken into account when making a final decision on this matter.

i can agree on how this would make people vote but why cant people just go out and hunt them?or buy them in payon from venters? wouldnt something alittle more be abetter idea like ....ygg berrys? *random number*30 silver coins =20 berrys or swich it? or idk cut it and make it 15 silver coins = 10 ygg seeds
with elu and ori ok i get kinda but they are easyer to get then thoses and even if you disagree with me its just an idea which isnt that the whole reasont his is up?idea's to get people to vote tell me what you think krim

Because you can't hunt or buy "enriched" ori or elu, only regular. the enriched versions increase the odds of success rate there for would be useful and worth voting for. the odds of each type are posted in my original post to this thread

Agreed, and lighten up Krim, it was all in good fun 
Anywho, I voted yes, I would personally like to see this, because I know how unrealistic it is to farm up 2000+ shields/armor to reach the refinement curve of +9/+10. With refined Eluniums, it should make things more reasonable.
I remember I farmed up 100 cross shields only to walk out with 1 +8.

Anywho, I voted yes, I would personally like to see this, because I know how unrealistic it is to farm up 2000+ shields/armor to reach the refinement curve of +9/+10. With refined Eluniums, it should make things more reasonable.
I remember I farmed up 100 cross shields only to walk out with 1 +8. |
no kidding, that's why my goal was to get 2k Vmants which is going to take a long time, I have just over 100 now and still farming. I don't care if people vote no and give a logical reason as to why, I got irritated because I see 5 no's with no given reason telling me exactly what I suspected in an earlier post. It doesn't matter to me anymore though, Luzz is well aware of crap like that and it'll be taken into account anyway. It's all good

Because you can't hunt or buy "enriched" ori or elu, only regular. the enriched versions increase the odds of success rate there for would be useful and worth voting for. the odds of each type are posted in my original post to this thread |
alright then that answered my qustion in 2 ways
so i agree to it now fully and yes i know seeds are easy it was just an idea on my old sever rebrith somebody would pay 10gcs *forgets the money they used for dontation* and get 150 or so ygg berrys(which were very hard to hunt them) i knwo here is easyer its just an idea
