Okay, Well, With my Crit Sinx, I was going to switch from Katar crit to Double (Sword / Dagger) Crit. But I currently don't know whats the best Daggers / swords out there right now. (I was currently making a 3x Paper 1x TG Blade in one hand and off hand would have Status and another Damage dealing wep...) But My question is... Would I still be good with using a +10 blade [4] or should I use a +10 mes [3] / +10 saber [3] (Both having 120? attack, but with mes giving double attack and External bleeding.) Also, Please don't post here if you're going to just tell me to switch to double dagger and forget about crit. Thank you. :3

I haven't tested this myself, but from what i recall others telling me, I think that double attack does not work with daggers with crit builds. So just use the blades?

@Glitch I have tried, The Double attack works with crit... if you don't have the daggers meant for (like mine would be for crit only, a triple bloody explosive MG would be good for crit and non crit damage.
@magbolt OA would work too I guess... 65 attack instead of 45 attack from the mg and 50 attack from blades.... It be okay... Easier to get the Blades to upgrade.

Double Attack can not land a critical hit, and can only activate on non-critical hits. If you have alot of crit, and double daggers, but not enough dexterity to hit a player of above-average speed, you'll see alot of red misses, between criticals. |

Sorry, but you don't seem to understand what my question was. It wasn't that I was switching to double dagger, I'm switching my katars to eather Dagger or Swords. I'm still going to keep using katars but the daggers / swords are to get extra damage boost, Since with katars max slots you can have is 4, Max slots using daggers or swords is 8. meaning 4x 20% cards (3 hydra one TG) giving a 180% bonus instead of a 260% bonus.... If I did all my math and everything correct... What I think I f**ked up... due to no sleep in the past 3 days... sorry if that was off really really badly. xD Uhm but yeah... You get what I'm saying hopefully... That you get more damage from daggers then katars.

I thought everyone knew that.. I hated getting crits on my Assassin on iRO because it blocked a possible double-attack.
DD does a hell lot of damage, but Katars have a lot of different skills/spells which you need for winning against certain classes. |

Sorry for the late reply, But yeah. I'm still going to use katars, just with Double Sword for extra damage when I'm not using Grimtooth. (My builds a hybrid kind of. Crit for main damage and grim for every now an then. x;

Also if you still want to use a Dagger I would highly recommend you use the time instead of hunting and making a +10 Mes and hunt yourself some Desert Winds (The 4 Slotted ones), Best 4 slotted dagger to use atm.

Yeah, If I were to use daggers thats what I would. But I think i'm going to go with blades, Cause I tested it out the other day, Double attack still activates a lot with crit, causing less damage. Blades will most likely get me a lot more damage. ^^ What are some good blades out there right now? x:

firstly, you wont do the damage seen in your status screen. its computation is, your str + str bonus damage + the weapon damage = damage output per hand, if you plan to use crit without katar, the weapon you're looking for is:
A sword on the main hand, and a dagger or another sword in the off hand.
we all know katars give twice the crit rate so whatever crit you have will diminish by half when using Katars.
Platinum Shotel gives off +50% Crit Rate already but has one slot only, I suggest you take either: Mes [3] / Saber [3] / Orcish Axe [4] / Desert Wind [4]
Shotel on the main hand because it can save you stats to catch up to perfect crit because it already gives you enough to crit half of the time.
its up to you to decorate the weapon of choice in the Off Hand and see first what you need to put in there, because the Off hand really is weaker than the Main and you wont get equal damages on both hands.
the best one i can think of for a crit sin is
Main Hand: Platinum Shotel [1]
Off Hand: Desert Wind [4]
Orcish Axe will make your Atk Spd Sluggish Axes are not built for Speed but for Crushing Attacks.
you cannot hope to wear any daggers on the Main Hand because even if you have level 1 Double Attack, it will Double Attack and get in the way of your Crit.

Yes, DD does a lot of damage on most monsters, but try using them on Apocalypse and Hard rock Mammoth, your damage will be decreased very much and so will your double attack, most of the time Double Attacks are way stronger than Crit, but, in cases of boss hunting, if your dagger is not Ice Pick [0]/[1] your damage will be less than what you have. and in Crit, he does not need to worry about not hitting cuz no dex is involved.
