I myself am still undecided whether i like this idea or not, or whether it is even possible. I thought i would throw it out to everyone else.

Ever fought a class, say, a lord knight, and you have your set gears to fight them? But then they log onto, say their high wiz and own you before you have time to change gears to your magic class gears?

I was thinking, maybe we could have like 3 tabs of gears hotkeyed. For example, setting F5 to change a whole set of gears, instead of just one gear itself.

*MDEF gears are put on, and maya shield, all in the pop of one button*

I am undecided on this as i am still unsure whether this is detracting from what ragnarok online is supposed to be like, as it will require a bit less strategy. Nonetheless, i am still putting it out as i want to hear peoples opinions, and whether its possible or not lol.

no...he means this...lets say i have an LK named Greg

Greg's current equips are: +10 Broad Sword, +10 Vlak. Set(full), Ring of Resonance, and Ring of Flame Lord
Greg has another set of gear on hotkey F1
Greg presses F1
Greg's current equips are now: +10 Katana, +10 Armor, +10 Shoes, +10 whatever(list goes on)

I think tom's keyboard has that function, just have to set your eq to bm keys and group them together....
Then again his keyboard cost more than my monitor = =

Having gear sets like this would be good if your attempting to solo as well. Quicker on the gear changes.

or if someone ended up using a DB and it spawned something in an area that is TOTALLY the opposite element... I.E. Eremes Guile DB spawn outside ant hell...you go to ant hell for cards or items or whatever you run into Eremes and your geared to be able to hold a LOT of items...press a key and your geared to kick Eremes' ass

In theory, Gear Sets are possible to code.
In practical application, we have not tried to create something like this.

I'll play around with a bit of code to see what I can do, but there needs to be significant amount of interest and effort put towards this for us to go through with it.

My concern, however, is that these could be overpowered sets. =( We need to avoid this.
