Where were you, when the planes struck the towers in 9/11?
i was in 3rd grade, in class. our teacher stood there crying with the news on. all the students sat there and watched it happen live. |

3rd grade, must have been a Religion, Social Studies, or Science class. I think there was a TV on or something. One thing I know for sure is that I had no idea what was going on. When I went home, my mom was crying and my dad was trying to comfort her. I said, "Mommy, why you crying? I thought it was Daddy's birthday today. That's a good thing, right?"
She cried more.

i was a high school freshman in my spanish class watching a kick ass movie. Then suddenly i got a blue slip saying my mom was here to take me home. I was so pissed. I didnt wanna leave...
then we went and picked up my siblings from school too...

Grade 1. But I'm in Canada, so I had no idea what 9/11 was until grade 8. (Currently in grade 11).
