I'm unsure how many people use /bm, so i'm curious. sometimes it works, but most the time i can still type despite it on and "enabled". anyone else get this?

Yep, That is true. There's nothing wrong with it... It's all working perfectly fine... I use battle mode on every single character. When you have that "bug" happen. Hit enter twice.... I never have had this "bug"... and I could probably say I use battle mode more then anyone on the server. xD;

you can also press the space bar to start typing, I usually press that instead of the Enter key to talk.

possibly, you might wanna try hitting [enter] again, just to see if its working or your BM's screwed...

If you were referring to still being able to type while battle mode SHOULD disallow typing in the normal chat box, then opening up a chat box window (or 1:1 chat, too, I believe) does mess with battle mode, as you'll end up seeing two letters appear for each keystroke in the chat box window. Hitting enter will toggle between seeing two and seeing just one character per keystroke.
