Hello Reign Online players!

Since my return from my travels, I have been hard at work at updating Reign Online. The fruit of this labor is upon us!

November 23rd 10pm (tentatively)
We will be updating the Reign Online servers!

This is an update of official content. This means new towns, new dungeons, new mobs, new items, new quests, new headgears!

A few things we wish to point out -

1. A few Donation Girl items will be removed. They will be removed because their sprites are now official sprites, and we do not want players to be confused between identical looking items with vastly different stats.

2. A few Rewards Girls items will be removed. This is because Rewards Girls' items are all official unreleased headgear. The items that will be removed are items that are no longer unreleased, and will be attainable through quests and/or other means. Fear not!! Though we are removing a few Rewards Girls' headgears, we are adding many, many more! Some of them are so new, they have never been seen before!

We will not list the updated content - players' should explore on their own!


What do I have to do to update?
At 10pm (2200) server time, on November 23, 2010, the server will go down for the update. During this time, a new patch will be released. Players MUST patch in order to play! The patch is roughly 98MB. A brand new Full Installer will be available for download (an updated Small Installer too, but nobody should use that). To be clear: You can either patch like you normally do, OR you can download the new Full Installer. Most players will find it easier to patch. It is effortless.

The estimated downtime for us updating the servers is roughly 5 - 10 minutes (YES! we are that awesome!).


If we run into any problems with our testing this week, we will update this thread with a new release date for the update.

Hello Reigners -

Unfortunately, I have not been able to complete my testing and creation of the Full Installer before 10pm tonight.

It would also be unfair to have bugs be present during the Thanksgiving weekend events as well.

Thus, I have decided to post-pone release of the new update until November 29th at 10pm.

Sorry for the delay, but it is best for everyone.
