I think GTB should be removed from PvP and WoE cause it's not fair to the magic using classes like Mage, Priest, and Ninja. Using it in parties for leveling to prevent magic using mobs from raping you would be good. A friend and I were discussing it over IM and we think that, that card is a lazy way for players not to learn how to fight mages or other magic classes, anyone who uses it isn't worth the time to fight cause they don't know how to use their class to beat magic users… It’s just a cheap card.

I think it evens somethings out.
I mean, if it wasn't there, everyone would be a magic class.
Because they do ridiculous amounts of damage. That's what they're supposed to do. The GTB card wasn't originally meant for PvP, but, come on: You can always strip their shield. Or get someone to do it for you.
GTB evens things out with Magic users.
(Because Maya is unreliable, and ends in my death 80% of the time)

part of me doesn't want to see it banned, just nerfed a bit so that magic users actually have a chance. Like 75% magic damage reduction or something.

Sounds like a good idea Mage but it should have the samce chance Maya has so make it like 50%?

i agree with Zeb <<
and also mage classe arent entirely useless , along with the fact that it is not entirely a lazy way for players to not learn to fight magic users.
i can stll kick butt without mine.
(i play a priest class and it doesnt bug me whether or not someone has gtb)
i can still fight back. there are many other ways to get around gtb, exactly what zeb has just listed. if you want the removal of one card from pvp/woe or anything else, i can suggest a whole lot more things to remove than just that card and other things to be nerfed.
you care too much for one class it becomes to powerful then someones else is going to bring up another class issue and so forth.
gtb evens things.

You say this card isn't fair, 100 other people say 100 other different things aren't fair.
Let's refer back to my old post in the soul link thread:
"If you really want pvp to be fair only allow level 1 novices with no equips or buffs into the pvp room."

This is nothing more than an assumption. You have no idea their reasoning to use it. (Other than the obvious to block magic) They could know how to fight magick classes better than you can, for all you know.

I could say the same about other cards and items. But I won't. They're part of the game and you deal with them. Work around them or just avoid the people who use it, if you can't find a way around it.

i think its cheap. but to go as far as to ban it?
i mean god im a big magic class user and i hate it
but baning it is over kill!
get another char. and try to beat them that way if they win then ur just s.o.l |
